Biographical Information:

Ron Fairchild’s music has been called everything from Jazz to New Age to Experimental. Indeed it is all of that and more. He now has 4 CD’s available through this web site and more in the development stages. 

Ron's latest album One Man Band was released on March 1, 2005.  Proceeds from this album along with the proceeds from Christmas Without You are being donated to the Daniel Lee Rasnick II Memorial Fund at the CJ Foundation for SIDS.


Ron was born April 27, 1958 in Nashville, TN and was raised in the Hendersonville area.  Ron's father, Tommy Fairchild, was a member of the Oak Ridge Boys, playing piano for the legendary group. 

Being raised around music it was just a matter of time before music would take hold of Ron and forever change his life.  In February of 1964, shortly after seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, Ron started playing the guitar at the age of 5. 

Ron played for Brenda Lee, Dottie West, Kenny Rogers and the Blackwood Brothers before he joined the Mighty Oaks Band In December of 1979.  Ron has spent over 27 years with the Oaks Ridge Boys as keyboard player and Band Director, as well as filling in on guitar as needed.

His work with the Oak Ridge Boys has brought him a CMA Award as a member of the 1986 Band of the Year.  In addition he has played on four Grammy winning albums and a host of other interesting projects.

Ron continues to produce recordings for various artists and frequently adds keyboard, bass and touch guitar parts to other projects as well.  

In the last 5 years Ron has begun to pursue the music that has always been in his heart.  He built his own recording studio, RFM Central, created a Publishing Company, Ron Fairchild Music, and launched this website

Ron's dedication to music is nothing short of total.
